2023 Campaign For The Future

Hello neighbors,

The Williamstown Farmers’ Market 2023 season is well underway and we hope you’ve and we’d love for you to be involved in our mission this season. We’re dedicated to offering our community fresh produce and unique products from local farmers, food makers, and artisans. We take pride in our farming community and in supporting those who steward its land. We are also dedicated to providing access to healthy food options for our food insecure neighbors.

The WFM has been growing and evolving over the past few years. This year we have a salaried Interim Market Manager, and under his direction we now provide Market Bucks, allowing patrons to use credit cards in a central location to be spent with any vendor at the market. We also have redoubled our commitment to making fresh, local produce accessible to all. The market not only accepts SNAP/EBT but matches every SNAP/EBT dollar spent, up to $30 per transaction each week. Additionally, we purchase leftover produce, bread, and other goods from our vendors to be donated to local food insecurity organizations.

The WFM is a place for us all! Every Saturday morning from now until October, the heart of Williamstown is bustling with lively music, shopping, eating, and conversations with friends and neighbors. We invite you to join us to grow a stronger community. Your support will allow us to continue our role as a hub to bring together those who care about our town’s land and people.

Please consider supporting us at one of the following giving levels:

$25-$50 - provides funding for kids’ activities at the market

$50-$100 - helps hire local high school students to support the set up and break down of the market

$100-$250 – maintains affordable vendor rates

$250 - $500 - assists in managing and allowing expansion of the market's food insecurity programs

$500 and above – provides security for the market's future (special benefit earned!)

Even if you are unable to make a gift at this time, please remember that your support includes visiting us on Saturdays and spreading the word to others! We look forward to seeing you this season!

 Sincerely,

The Williamstown Farmers’ Market Board of Directors
