Our Final Market Day – Saturday, October 16 9am -1pm

You won’t want to miss the farmers market this Saturday, our final day of the 2021 season! Along with our wonderful vendors and two great music groups, we have a special treat: a 30 minute presentation by H.T. Chen & Dancers, a multicultural modern dance company renowned for its innovative expression of Asian-American cultural heritage. Market-goers will have the opportunity to watch performances and to participate in warm-up exercises involving Tai Ch’i and martial arts.

Violin duo Nicole Zhou and Frances Hayward will be performing from 9-11am, with a pause for the dance presentation from 10-10:30am. At 11am, Aunt Edith and Her Bluegrass Britches will take the stage to finish off the day with some lively bluegrass tunes.

After having to shift to a virtual market last year, it’s been such a joy to gather in person again. We hope to see you this weekend for one last celebration of our community and togetherness – and an opportunity to stock up on locally produced items!

*A reminder that we match Senior and WIC coupons 100% – look for the yellow and orange signs at produce booths. Also, SNAP/EBT is accepted at Bigfoot Farm and East Mountain Farm.
