Find all the freshest offerings of the season at the farmers market this Saturday! We’ll have juicy tomatoes, flavorful blueberries (still in season!), crispy greens, early apples, and so much more. Looking for a recipe? Try this delicious late summer salad with our fresh kale, apples, and R&G cheddar.  We’re also ecstatic to welcome back two talented musical duos this weekend: Louisa Nyhus with Abigail Soloway and Daniel Yu with Kevin Zhou

Local Farmers
•Peace Valley Farm – heirloom tomatoes, Romanesquo cauliflower, new fingerling potatoes, zucchini squash, rhubarb, Swiss chard, lettuce, broccoli, parsley, beets, German thyme, and GREEN BEANS!
•Shaker Hill Orchard – Tom will be bringing early crisp apples from his beautiful orchard!
•Sweet Brook Farm – local maple syrup (in varieties perfect for tasting, cooking…and over pancakes!), maple candies, maple roasted nuts, and alpaca socks
•Windswept Farm – Corn, blueberries, tomatoes, peaches (yellow, white, and donut), garlic, beans, peppers, sunflowers, squash, cucumbers. If it’s in season, John most likely has you covered (;
•Blair Farm – the Quimbys are now bringing loose leaf lettuce, spinach, radishes, bedding flowers, squash, cucumbers, maple syrup, eggs…and more eggs! Hopefully blueberries and raspberries too (fingers crossed for favorable weather).
•East Mountain Farm – Williamstown’s Kim Wells brings an impressive array of pasture raised chicken, pork, and beef products, including link and bulk sausages (sweet, hot, and breakfast), bratwurst, tenderloin, ribs, chops (smoked pork chops — yum!!), bacon, ham, steaks, ground pork and beef, London broils — plus new all-pork liverwurst and smoked pork kielbasa. You can sample Kim’s meats in Robin’s yummy grilled sandwiches!
•Hay Berry Farm – Lawrie will be bringing BLUEBERRIES (she still has them)! also her incredible log-grown Shiitake mushrooms, fresh-cut lavender, fresh and dried dried flowers and arrangements, honeys – with and without the comb, and swan neck gourds
M and A Farm – Michelle and Autumn bring lettuce, basil, kale, chicken eggs, duck eggs, pork, and goat milk soap!

•Mighty Food Farm – Lisa brings a colorful assortment of tomatoes, head lettuce, eggplant, carrots, collards, bell peppers, spaghetti squash, green curly kale, lacinato kale, shallots, beets, cabbage, broccoli, baby lettuce mix, scallions, chard, red onions, walla walla sweet onions, and white onions

Local Prepared Food Vendors
•Hobson’s Choice Restaurant – Dan Campbell’s famous grilled-to-order beef hamburgers and cheddar cheeseburgers (topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and/or onions), chicken teriyaki, portabella mushrooms, and lobstery lobster rolls
•Robin’s – Delicious grilled-to-order sandwiches and baked goods by Robin Lenz, including banana breads, gluten free brownies, molasses cookies, lemon pound cake and scones. Gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches featuring market vendors R & G cheeses and East Mountain deli ham. New this year (and already famous!) breakfast sandwiches with egg and cheeses, plus East Mountain’s bacon and/or breakfast sausage…perfection!
•R&G Cheese Makers – Sean brings a delectable assortment of hard and soft artisan cheeses, both cow and goat’s milk, made nearby with locally sourced milk including fresh chevres, blues, mozzarellas and ripened goat cheeses…taste a free sample!
•Chris’s Kitchen and Serendipity Quilt Designs – jams and jellies galore, conserves, batik quilts, and table runners – spicy and sweet pepper jellies, new…rhubarb jam, tastes like rhubarb pie! And now Chris also brings her scrumptious baked goods: whoopie pies, seven layer bars, almond pound cake, and scones (that pair perfectly with her jam!) 
•GoodNight Kitchen – French apple tarts with almond nougat topping, apple streusel pies (with local apples!), peach pies, blueberry cobblers, cherry pies. Must we say more? Not to mention s’mores on demand, make your own s’mores kits, muffins, scones, donuts, cookies, lemon creme fraiche mini bundt cakes, salted caramel and dark chocolate sauces, and hand-crafted chocolate bars. Grab a fresh (gourmet) strawberry pop tart before they’re gone!
•Cindy’s Cookin’ Greek – We’ll miss Cindy this week, but will welcome her back soon!

•Berkshire Mountain Pottery – Update: Anne will be back next week with her functional hand-thrown and hand-crafted stoneware made here in Williamstown
•Crow Hill Farm – Well-loved educator Merry Anderson brings an array of lovingly prepared arts and craft kits (such as owl treasure keeper, design your own sailboat, create your own notecards), greeting cards, miniatures (gnomes, elves, fairies), hand knit items from alpaca and cotton…and new birthday fairies!
•Heritage Artisans – A talented group of four bring and demonstrate traditional fiber craftwork: spinning, weaving, knitting, and this week soaps too! Carolyn, the expert knitter, is happy to help you get past any snags in your own knitting projects – just bring along your handiwork and ask for assistance
•Memphremagog Studios – Emily brings silver earrings, bracelets, and necklaces, etched stemware glasses, silk scarves
•Peterman’s Bowls & Boards – Exquisite round and oval wooden salad and serving bowls (from local fallen trees!) in an assortment of sizes, trays, napkin rings, salad tossers, bottle stoppers, cutting boards
•Yarnwork – Nora Phykitt has been hard at work all winter creating comfortable and fashionable knitted, crocheted and felted clothing and accessories…her cottons are especially soft!
•Beach Woodworking – Shaker-inspired tables, benches, boxes (including a special knitter’s box), cabinets, coat racks from locally sourced wooden boards – including ash, cherry, pine, hemlock, butternut, and chestnut…some from ancient barns!

We can’t wait for our music this weekend! This Saturday, we welcome back the talented violinists Kevin Zhou and Daniel Yu from 9am to 11am, and Louisa Nyhus and Abigail Soloway from 11am to 1pm.
