Thank you for your interest in joining the Williamstown Farmers Market!
We support local producers in this region, so priority is given to those within a 30-mile radius of the market. Anyone outside of the 30-mile radius may be considered, especially if you have a product uncommon in this region and not offered by current vendors.
The market is looking for a balanced variety; examples of products include vegetables, dairy, eggs, flowers, fruits, herbs, honey, maple syrup, meats, plants, fiber, etc. “Farmer Vendor” also applies to food artisans like bakers, jam/jelly makers, cheese makers, producers of fermented products, etc. All products must be regionally made. Items brought from other producers or from non-local sources cannot be resold without special permission.
Prepared Food Vendors
The availability of prepared food encourages community members to come to the market and enjoy their day sharing tasty treats with family and friends. Priority is given to those sourcing local ingredients for their food. Prepared food vendors must apply for and receive a permit to serve from the Williamstown Board of Health, linked to above.
Crafts must be regionally made, with priority given those made from regionally-sourced materials and those related to food, cooking, personal health and well-being, or other environmental issues. Examples include: house wares, fiber products, and personal care products. Only a few craft vendors are accepted each season, due to limited space and scheduling.
