OPENING DAY – SATURDAY, MAY 19th – 9AM-1PM

Saturday, May 19th is Opening Day for the Williamstown Farmers Market!  We WILL be in the same location, the Spring Street Parking Lot – expanded and improved over the past winter.

Market hours are Saturdays 9:00am to 1:00pm.

ALL LOCAL offerings ~ find farmers, bakers, chefs, artisans, and musicians, plus picnic tables with umbrellas!

We’re expanding our produce and prepared food offerings with SIX new local food providers.  With 31 regular vendors, we’ve grown to become one of the largest markets in the region.

Among the NEW vendors, Berkshire favorites Hosta Hill starts the season with raw, naturally fermented veggies including sauerkrauts, kimchi, and hot sauces, and Mountain Girl Farm brings unique preserves, pickled veggies, goat milk soap, chick and duck eggs, and on-farm bakery goodies.

New local farms Grateful Greens brings assorted microgreens – sunflower, radish, wheatgrass and pea, and Bigfoot Farm arrives with heirloom and unique veggies. Caroline’s Scottish Bakery offers traditional shortbreads and Danish pastries. Look for free samples provided by several vendors!

The market welcomes Williamstown’s newest (and only?) food truck, Cornucopia Food Truck, serving delicious farm-to-market Saturday BRUNCH every week. The rotating menu will feature lots of fresh, local produce from our vendors!

We also welcome back many local farmers and chefs, such as Peace Valley Farm providing healthy, tasty veggies since the market’s founding in 1981, Mighty Food Farm bringing a full assortment of veggies and CSA member weekly pick-up, and East Mountain Farm with pasture raised, hormone-free chicken, pork, and beef. Robin’s returns with grilled-to-order farm sourced breakfast and lunch sandwiches, Cindy’s Cookin’ Greek brings her legendary moussaka, spanakopita, and baklava, and R & G Cheese Makers bring blues, chevres, camembert and more.

Locally sourced wooden bowls, boxes, and furniture (from ancient barn boards), as well as batik quilts, silver, pottery, kids craft kits, and yarnwork complement the food offerings.

Look for weekly updates listing all the vendors and their offerings , as well as the schedule for live music, that you’ll find at the upcoming Saturday market. If you’d like to receive an e-newsletter every Thursday afternoon with this info, sign up on this web page.
