Labor Day weekend is here! A great time to pick up locally pastured meats from East Mountain Farm (including ground beef on sale at $6/pound), delicious chevre and smoked mozzarella from R&G Cheese, and a full array of veggies in late summer splendor from our farmers. Local tomatoes, watermelon, beans, and eggplants are tasty, as well as shiitake mushrooms and herbs! Have a gift to pick up? Local Farmers
•Bear Meadow Farm – dry and semi-dry hard cider, cider vinegar, bars of beeswax, assorted honeys and honey candies
•Blair Farm – blueberries, watermelon, dahlias, eggplant, green and yellow beans, cauliflower, corn, zucchini, summer squash, potatoes, cucumbers, eggs
•Dancing Bare Soap – organic, vegan, fair trade soap infused with local and seasonal herbs and florals
•Diggers Bend Farm – shiitake and oyster mushrooms, summer squash, zucchini, basil, dill, cilantro, cucumbers, braising mix, kale, beets, green beans, arugula, tomatoes, jalapenos, shell beans, eggplant, eggs, pork, goat’s milk soap
•East Mountain Farm – locally pastured ground beef (on sale at $6/pound!), poultry, sweet and hot sausage, bratwurst, chorizo, andouille, pork chops, pork tenderloins

•Chris’s Kitchen and Serendipity Quilt Designs –a wide assortment of jams and jellies, conserves, chutneys; baked goods – including whoopie pies, bars, and scones using old-fashioned recipes – batik quilts, runners, flannel receiving blankets
•Hobson’s Choice Restaurant – grilled-to-order burgers (topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and onions), chicken teriyaki, portabella mushrooms, lobster rolls
•R&G Cheese – A delectable assortment of hard and soft artisan cheeses, both cow and goat’s milk, made nearby with locally sourced milk (free samples offered!)

•Crow Hill Farm – an array of lovingly prepared arts and craft kits (such as owl treasure keeper, design your own sailboat, create your own notecards), greeting cards, miniatures (gnomes, elves, fairies), hand knit items from alpaca and cotton
•Heritage Artisans – traditional fiber crafts of weaving, spinning, knitting and basketry, private knitting clinics (bring along your handiwork!)

•Berkshire Mountain Pottery – functional hand-thrown and hand-crafted stoneware made in Williamstown, including mugs, bowls, plates, platters

Non-Profit Booth
The Williamstown Community Chest will share information about the important work it has been doing for nearly 90 years to support diverse agencies in the Northern Berkshires. Volunteers will also provide details about the Community Chest’s upcoming 9th annual 5k Fun Run and 1 mile walk to be held on Saturday, September 10th. The event begins and ends at the Williamstown Youth Center and the first 100 registrants will receive t-shirts, handmade prizes will be awarded to top finishers, and refreshments will be provided for all participants.
